Holiday – Memorial Day
Memorial Day is a United States federal holiday observed on the last Monday of May (on May 25 in 2009). Formerly known as Decoration Day, it commemorates U.S. men and women who died while in military service to their country. First enacted to honor Union soldiers of the American Civil War (it is celebrated near the day of reunification after the civil war), it was expanded after World War I to include American casualties of any war or military action.
ASQ Baltimore would like to honor and remember the brave men and woman who have defended their country through the armed services. Thank you.

Certification Exams – Location Information
CCT CPGP CQA CQE CQIA CQPA CSSGB CSQE Exams to be held: June 6, 2009.
There are two locations for this exam, depending on your employer.
Northrop Grumman and Boeing personnel will be taking the CQA exam. Location: Northrop Grumman, BWI West Building
All non-NGC or non-Boeing personnel taking the CQA will be taking exams at CCBC in Catonsville on 6 June 2009. Location: Community College of Baltimore County (Catonsville Campus) Building E, Rooms 202, 209, 211 and 213 have been assigned for the ASQ exam. Exam participants are asked to meet in the common area before the exams, and to follow any posted signs.
