November Dinner Meeting – Operational Risk Management and Six Sigma

Information on the Tuesday, November 14, 2017 Dinner meeting has been posted:
Venue: Fazzini’s Taverna, Cockeysville, MD

Program: As a quality professional, you may have had the opportunity to complete risk assessments at the project level. In this session, we will discuss roles in Operational Risk and the value proposition of these roles. We will explore the commonalities of tools and methods used for Operational Risk Management and Six Sigma, and will discuss how these two disciplines complement one another within an organization.

Presenter: Lauren Fagan is Senior Manager of Risk, Audit, Compliance and Execution (RACE) with Allegiance Advisory Group.  Lauren holds certifications as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt and as a Project Manager.  She brings over 15 years of experience in reducing inefficiencies and risks associated with business processes.  In addition, she has created and successfully launched enterprise process improvement and quality management programs. Her ability to focus strategically and execute tactically are key to her success in driving customer value.

Lauren holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts degree in the social sciences from The Johns Hopkins University and a Master of Business Administration from Mercer University’s Stetson School of Business in Atlanta.  In addition, she served over ten years on the board of the Baltimore section of the American Society for Quality.
