June 2018 Dinner Meeting – Process Mapping Revisited

Information on the Tuesday, June 12, 2018 Dinner Meeting has been posted:

Venue: Conference Center at the Maritime Institute

Program: Process mapping is the foundation for process improvement. The current processes have to be known to understand where an organization stands. This program will take the Tutorial and apply it to some common processes. Participants can bring their own processes for discussion for the last part of the presentation.

Speaker:  Mark is a former Corporate Quality Director for several companies in the area and now works as a consultant in Lean Six Sigma and Quality Management Systems. He has facilitated numerous sessions in process mapping and risk assessment and is in the process of moving some QMSs over to the new ISO standard, along with CMMI preparation. He currently has projects with DoD, FAA, and commercial companies in auditing, risk management and process improvement. The program will be a follow on from the tutorial with specific examples of advanced process mapping techniques by establishing metrics, risks and regulations, and reducing complexity through Six Sigma techniques. Participants are encouraged to bring their current process maps for discussion.

Tutorial: Process Map (considering Risk, Directives/Regs, Metrics, and Six Sigma)
