L-3 Communications is seeking a Full-time Quality Assurance Specialist. This position is located on client site in Edgewood, MD.
Description: Develops designs and revises quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection in accordance with customer and contract requirements. Reviews, writes and revises inspection procedures. Performs internal inspections. Reviews and evaluates in-process rejections, obtains disposition and implements corrective action as needed. May interface with various vendors and customer organizations to resolve quality problems and provide information. May participate in internal and external audits. May act as the primary interface for all ISO internal and external issues. May be responsible for ISO activities as assigned. Responsible for all corrective action tracking from audits.
Experience required: Requires 2 years of experience. Domestic & International will be required. Also, this position will require access to classified information; therefore, applicants will be subject to a security investigation and must meet the eligibility requirements to obtain a Secret security clearance issued by the U.S. Government.
Special experience/skills required: Army or Marine Corps chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear Explosive (CBRNE) background desired.
Education required: Bachelor’s degree
