Job Description:
Qualitek Services has an immediate 3 (three) months+ contract opening for a Quality Assurance Engineer in Greenbelt, MD.
REQUIRED SKILLS
****Must be a US Citizen****
Candidate must have a Bachelors Degree (BA/BS) in Engineering with at least 2 (two) years of previous related work experience.
Knowledge of Word, Excel and Windows required. Basic PC skills are required.
Knowledge of Access and common e-mail programs is preferred.
Must have the ability to communicate and work well in a team environment.
Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems and subsystems is preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist in the development and review of standards, specifications, procurement requirements, methods, and procedures for inspection, testing and evaluation.
Assist in devising sampling procedures and designs, and develop forms and instructions for recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data.
Participate in audits.
Develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and devise methods to assess cost and responsibility.
May assist in writing training material and may assist in conducting training sessions on quality control activities.
May interface with customers, vendors and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information.
Provide technical support to inspection personnel as needed.
Perform related duties as assigned or required.
Pay Rate: $ 40.00 /hr MAX DOE
