Quality Inspector / Quality Analyst
Maryland Precision & Rolex Spring Division of M. W. Industries, the second largest spring manufacturer in the United States, is looking to place a quality professional for the position of Quality Inspector / Quality Analyst. We are located in the Essex area of eastern Baltimore County, and a manufacturer of metal products and assemblies for various industries, domestic and international.
The individual needs to:
- Be experienced in working in a manufacturing environment
- Be familiar with physical inspection of parts using precision equipment and tools
- Be able to interpret drawings and associated customer specifications
- Understand and apply analytical tools and methods
- Have effective communication skills in both verbal and written capacity
The desirable candidate should have:
- Familiarity with PPAP submissions
- Experience auditing Quality Management Systems
- Innovative approaches to problem solving
- An understanding of the cost-profit relationship
The candidate will be expected to interact with all levels of the organization for the purpose of assisting MPRS in achieving a high level of performance in meeting ever increasing customer expectations and facilitating our organization in our lean journey toward more efficient operations, improved profitability and growth in the various industries and markets we supply. The successful candidate will have a proven desire to take ownership of the position and a willingness as well as capability to accept increasing responsibility within the company.
