Slate of Officers
The Section Board is presenting the slate of officers for the 2017 Program Year.
Chair – Dave Moore
David Moore has been an active member of the ASQ Baltimore Board. He is currently a Quality Manager at Hughes Network System, LLC. David has been Vice Chair for the Section and is a past Secretary.
Vice-Chair – Fernando Martinez
Fernando is the chair of the membership committee and past POC for the ASQ Baltimore PMI Symposium committee. He has been attending ASQ meetings for many years and received his CQA in 2009 and CSQE in 2011. He holds a Bachelors of Computer Science from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and has 25+ years’ experience working as a quality professional. Besides engaged in ASQ activities and spending time with family, Fernando volunteers in his company’s Christmas project which delivers gifts and supplies to needy Baltimore special schools and community centers during the holiday season.
Treasurer – Wanda Morgan
Wanda has been a member of the Baltimore section 0502 of ASQ since 2013 when she moved to Maryland. Wanda has been a member of ASQ since 1997 and has served previous chapters in the roles of Publicity Chair (x2), Treasurer (x2), Vice Chair (x1), Section Chair (x2). Wanda has been leading the On-Field/Team Sports/Licensee category of Under Armour Quality since 2012 as a Quality Engineer and Manager. She was a Certified Quality Auditor by ASQ for 10+ years until illness prevented recertification.
Secretary – Thorsten Kappey
Thorsten Kappey works for WR Grace as a Quality Management Professional focused on developing data-driven business solutions via continuous quality improvement, and project management methodologies to achieve significant improvements in quality and cost metrics.
