March 2019 Dinner Meeting – Business Process Diagrams w/ Leadership Paradigm Assessment

Program: The business process activity diagram is the central tool for effective process understanding and change in any organization. It serves as a “Rosetta Stone” for all business process activities. It allows all key stakeholders to understand the activities that drive their business to profitability. It also provides the insight into which business processes need to be fixed. It is imperative that all professionals understand their specific business processes in the context of the larger business model. The Business Process Diagram is the key tool that will provide the linkage between specific processes and the overall business model.

Tutorial: Leadership Paradigm Assessment
Learning Objective: This assessment will provide Executive, Managers, Technical Leaders, and Quality Manager insight into how they become more effective professionals.

Speaker: Marcus Parker
Marcus Parker is an internationally recognized lecturer, author, instructor, and an industry thought leader with 20 years of experience lead teams. He is currently a Lead Instructor with ATEM Group, Section Manager with the Department of Defense, and Adjunct Professor at Morgan State University in Baltimore, MD. He is also a content contributor in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) 5th edition chapter 8 on Quality Management. He is the recipient of the 2015 PMI® Chapter Leadership award and under his leadership the board of directors won the 2015 PMI® award for collaboration and outreach. He is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Agile SCRUM Master.
