Program: Risk and Risk Language
Risk SME Carl Pritchard takes you on a journey through the inextricable link between the language of risk management and the implementation of quality practices. In his humorous and engaging style, Carl tackles the importance of setting tolerances and the vital need for meaning in the language we choose to express our risks.

Tutorial: The Risk Register
As a component of his presentation on Risk Language, Carl walks you through the risk register, explaining how it is completed properly and how users frequently mis-use the tool with weak execution.

Speaker: Carl Pritchard
Carl Pritchard is the author of 7 texts, including Risk Management: Concepts & Guidance, 5th Ed. and The Risk Management Memory Jogger. He is a keynote speaker and lecturer on the subject, and has presented risk topics in the international PMI® SeminarsWorld Series for 20 of the past 25 years. He serves on the board of directors for ProjectConnections.com and is the U.S. Correspondent for the British project management magazine, Project Manager Today.
