Responsibilities:

Your most critical mission, should you choose to accept it, will be to team with Operations to improve COQ performance to 1% by 2018.

Other mission critical objectives:

You will lead our Northumberland Quality Team to deploy Standard Work through MOST 1 (existing Division operating system)
If you don’t already have it, you will become an ASQ Certified Quality Auditor. You will function as site contact for System Certification audits and participate as auditor in system audits of other divisional plants
You will identify critical process variables using Process Characterization
You will develop process controls to reduce process variation to target control limits

So if You:

Enjoy conducting formal Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Actions to understand and eliminate excursions
Are an expert at utilizing statistical and DOE tools to measure and refine process control systems
Routinely update SOP’s, procedures and training materials to reflect continually improvement in quality requirements
Can monitor on-going performance of systems, prioritizing   actions to achieve annual commitments
Work well with others and can team with Finance to update weekly and monthly performance reports, corrective actions and associated financial impacts to plan and/or gap closure

Responsibilities will also include coordination and implementation of identified controls with sister plants and collaborative participation with Divisional Quality initiatives/projects

Qualifications:

We’d prefer that you have a Bachelors Degree in the Engineering field, but will also consider an Associate’s Degre with 4 years of practical experience.

Other highly desired qualifications include six Sigma or Lean GB Certicication, having your CQM or CQA certification, experience operating in a QMS environment (especially in the implementation stages)
AND…

Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong presentation and facilitation skills.
Preferred APQP Tools (FMEA, Control Plan, etc.)
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
