Welcome to the JobSeekers Program

If this is your first time here, if you are trying to find the JobSeekers Information Packet, or if you want a refresher on how best to use the JobSeekers Program, read this full posting.

The JobSeekers Information Packet PDF file is no longer available at the ASQ Baltimore website. The packet has been completely replaced by this website and listings are posted to the JobSeekers website instead for easy access and review.

The new JobSeekers Program offers a number of services for the ASQ 0502 JobSeeker:

  • Job postings for the Quality-related industries

Note, normally the Job postings are provided by members, or local companies/recruiters. Over the last two years, this has reduced significantly.

What has been happening lately is that the Placement Chair has been actively looking for Job Advertisements to post on the site. If you or your company has any jobs available or if you come across a job that may be useful for the membership-at-large, please send it in.

Tip: If you wish to just look at the Job Postings on this site, please select “Job Posting” in the Categories, and the site will present only the Job Postings.

  • Calendar of Job and Career-Related Events

On online database of available job fairs/career events is displayed in multiple fashions across the website, most notably is the “Calendar of Events” link. Please check it out regularly.

Note that quit a few are intelligence/military/security clearance fairs/events, but many are not, so check them out.

  • Articles to assist with your Career Management and Job Searching

Many postings will not point simply to news articles, but will also include other blog postings. Please read the article, and even the comments/discussions on the article, as these are usually just as informative. Take advantage of the web format to perform further research, review related articles, or the remainder of the article’s website, if appropriate.

Remember that even though information is easily gathered on the Internet, not all of the information is necessarily accurate or applicable to your situation. A posting might include two articles that provide advice that seems contradictory. A useful article may be located on a site that is trying to sell career-services, or mention a service/tool within the article that isn’t the reason for posting the article originally. As a job seeker, it is up to you to read/gather all of the information available to you and use it in your Career Management/Job Search. Read all articles to stay informed.

Tip: If you wish to just look at only the Articles on this site, please select “Articles” in the Categories, and the site will present only the Articles. You can further refine your views of the postings, if you click on the tags (for example, Resumes, as the tags are topics that are assigned to each post to make it easy to find related posts.

  • Online lists to assist with the Job Search

Included on the website are a large number of lists, including job assistance sites, local companies who have hired quality personnel in the past, training, search agencies, professional organizations and others.

Note that we are not pretending these to be complete. These lists are filled with information as it is found. Feel free to do your own research. If you have any information to add/update, please let us know.

If you have any further questions, please check out the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) pages or feel free to contact

Thank you
