DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES
• Primary point of contact for all retail plant inquiries and service requests.
• Develops and maintains technical support programs consistent with Consumer
Products Division and Corporate policy.
• Determines the feasibility and resource requirements of plant technical
requests.
• Assists in general plant problem identification, investigation, and
resolution.
• Provides risk management guidance to manufacturing plants and headquarters
quality assurance.
• Assists with and resolves general technical issues and major non-conformance
issues with suppliers and USCPD plants.
• Audits USCPD plants, suppliers, and warehouses as needed.
• Monitors retail finished goods for compliance to shelf life and packaging
requirements.
• Effectively enforces quality boundaries and negotiates win/win situations
without compromising basic standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, Chemistry, Food Science or Food Technology
required.
• 7 years of Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience in a food
manufacturing plant environment required.
• Statistical Process Control and SAP experience preferred.
• Experience negotiating positions affecting quality and cost required.
• Strong relationship and team-building skills and the ability to influence with
direct authorty required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required.
