Description:
ATK, Aerospace Systems, is currently recruiting a Quality Control Technician in our Beltsville, MD location. Successful candidate must have 5- 10 years of experience in the CMM’s using PCDMIS software.
Responsibilities for this position include:
* Performs specific analyses of samples of raw materials, packaging components, and bulk, intermediate, or finished products according to established procedures,
* Determine conformance to accepted specifications
* May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
* Interpret, evaluate and communicate drawing requirements
* Participate in the closure of discrepant material issues
Qualifications for this position include:
*
CMM Quality Control Technician
*
BS degree or college coursework is preferred but not required
*
Must possess the ability to perform off line programming.
*
Thorough knowledge in all aspects of GD&T a must.
*
Use of all measuring tools and hand set up required.
*
Dayshift with the potential of night shift available. Some overtime will be mandatory.
*
Proficiency in basic computer skills
